As an added note, it’s based off of build version 5.2, so if you need a let’s-play or walkthrough, add 5.2 to your search terms.
I have run into a couple glitches, so I recommend spreading out save-slots before item-combining decisions. The jewel/puppet scenario is touchy, and putting the puppet item on a shelf messes up the text box. And one chair-pushing scenario can get you stuck in a room. (It’s OK in the gray rooms though)
Hello! I know you’ve probably gotten this comment a zillion times by now, but … I would absolutely love you if you posted this translation. There are no other English translation for this version. I have looked literally EVERYWHERE.
And if can’t or don’t have the download anymore, even the English script would be amazing!
@ElementAlucard Can you be more specific about what does not work? I tested it myself and it worked perfectly. Did you make sure to download the RPGMakerXP runtime package (also linked in the description)?
@xZaCloudx Well, I beat it. It was great and I had fun, but it’s kind of disappointing too: There’s TONS of stuff missing from the other versions. @_@ I’ve seen screenshots of way more stuff that’s supposed to be in there, and they just weren’t. So weird that such a high version number, would have less than previous versions. orz
It’s still a great game, but be prepared for it missing a lot of other elements. If anyone finds an earlier version translated, feel free to share too.
I know that but… the version on the website is different from the one in this video. The version that’s translated in the website link is the latest version, ver. 6.23. While the one in this video is ver. 3.0.
The difference being THIS version has dialog and puzzle that aren’t found in the 6.23 version, which is why I would love a link to the download.
Still, if you don’t want to post it up, I completely understand!

@ElementAlucard What extraction program are you using? I just downloaded it and tried it with WinRAR and it opened perfectly fine.

Actually the game is not famous. This is the only version I have seen that is in english. I have feeling that the other people who are watching translated it. And this is in America.
But I do agree on the reactions. They make me laugh every time. But that Aooni is indeed scary!
Wait, I don’t get it! XD How come their names are Hiroshi in the japanese, Hiroshi in the english, Mika/Mika, Takuro/Takurou (I understand that…) and Takeshi/Andrew?!
@ElementAlucard So when you try unzipping the aooni_en.zip file it says it’s corrupted? Or is RPGMakerXP saying that the actual extracted game is corrupted? Did you try re-downloading the zip file?
I would probably freak out the same way.
@gaminggoddess85 Yeah, no fangs, but it still scares the crap outta me! XD I think the semi-smiling face does give it an extra creep factor in a way.
@xZaCloudx yeah uh im still at the first time you run away from him. The map is much smaller too to its hard to run
@theloafingone I have the RPGmakerXP. It’s just when I try to open the file it says that it is corrupted.
@theloafingone I’m using the Extraction wizard one that came with my computer.
